Comtec Continues to Strengthen Web Services Division with Acquisition of Atolis

Today Comtec has announced the acquisition of web and technical Internet specialist Atolis. This is Comtec's second purchase in as many weeks following the announcement in June that web design specialist Jamber had joined the Comtec Group.

Atolis is a well known name in the travel industry with clients such as Triton and Millington Travel on its books, and it will bring a wealth of Internet experience to Comtec. Its range of technologically advanced Content Management and Customer Relationship Management solutions, as well as data incorporation and integration tools, will enhance Comtec's current offering for the independent retail sector.

The acquisition of Atolis will further strengthen Comtec's existing product portfolio in the retail sector, and extend its reach and market dominant position. It also bolsters Comtec's Web Services Division (managed by Head of eCommerce Jerry Foot) offering Comtec clients' an end-to-end solution for their Internet needs from web design to off-the-shelf technical solutions.

Atolis Managing Director and co-founder Steve Whiston will join Comtec's management team, and the staff will be joining as part of the arrangement.
